CREW FAMILY AFFAIR:
Carrying out its commitment in valuing crew relatives as much as it values its seafarers, Maine Marine Philippines, Inc. conceived Crew Family Affair (CFA) – a program to bridge the crew families/relatives and the company officials and staff towards good relationship and mutual development while enhancing their knowledge on different aspects relevant to them.
It has been the core concern of the company to develop its seafarers through awareness on aspects which concern maritime career development. Thus, better half and kin of beloved seafarers should also receive proper knowledge on acquired rights, privileges and benefits.
Objectives of Crew Family Affair Program are as follows:
An open forum is part of the activity which gives opportunity for the participants to raise questions, comments and recommendations pertinent to company’s services/policies and other concerns. Participants can express their grievances, positive comments, and appreciation to the company’s efforts in reaching them.
The CFA’s banner "We value crew relatives as much as we value seafarers" has always been exemplified every time the company conducts the Affair. Presently, there were 27 Crew Family Affair events that were held since its onset on December 2006. The company consistently conducts CFA from its first batch up to the latest batch covering Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
